10.7.2022 UPDATE: I Know, I KNOW!

Friends,

I know that I am 6 weeks behind in shipping orders.  I am doing my best, but I still have an order from the sale I held — before I posted the announcement about my decision to close. Luckily, that customer is being patient with me.  He placed a HUGE order, and he knew it would take time.  But I am not willing to make him wait any longer.  6+ weeks is long enough.  And there are a few others almost as old.  I cannot keep putting them off to fill smaller orders — not any more.

So, for those of you emailing and asking where your 6-day-old order is?  Please, PA-LEASE!  Either wait until I can get to your order, or — DO NOT ORDER!  If you placed an order and are tired of waiting, email me.  I’ll refund your money ASAP! (Just don’t place another order later because I’ll refund that order, as well).

When I posted the closing date, I did not expect to get hit with a full year of normal business in 6 weeks.  Well, that is what happened.  Why or how folks think I can ship 12 months of orders in 6 weeks is beyond me, but that is what some of you seem to expect of me.  I have not lied to you.  I AM CLOSING TMD!  THIS IS NOT A SALES GIMMICK!  I have posted updates to keep you informed.  I have sent private emails when necessary.  I have promised, YOU WILL NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY!  I cannot do anything more — except close earlier than Dec 31!

Maybe I was wrong to believe I actually had the trust of all my customers?  I know I have the trust and understanding of most of you, and I apologize to you for this post.  It is not aimed at you.  However, if you are one of the inpatient ones out there, I am serious: either give me time or ask for your money back.  I REFUSE to provide poor service or castings to those who have been waiting patiently because I feel pressured to provide you with ‘special handling.’  I’ll just refund your purchase on my own initiative and block you from the store.

Do I sound like I am getting a bit upset?  GOOD!  Because I am!  I have been running on 4-5 hrs or sleep every night since I made the mistake of warning people I will close on Dec 31.  I did that because I felt a duty to all my loyal customers out there.  I did not do it for any other reason.  And, now, I am working as hard as I can and still keep that TMD quality you are used to, and I do not have time to answer complaining emails and impatient customers.  On top of that, I am too tired to care about being nice.  So, for the last time:

YOU ARE WELCOME TO ORDER UNTIL DEC 31,

BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WAIT UNTIL I CAN SHIP YOUR ORDER!!!

IF YOU CANNOT WAIT — DO NOT ORDER

PERIOD!

[I do NOT need the money.  I am doing this now just because I care for my customers and do not want to just close on you without giving you a chance to place one last order.  This is the truth!  Take it to the bank!]
