Have you ever gotten tired of yourself? Not really yourself, but the stupid things you do that you know you shouldn’t be doing? Yeah? Well, that’s where I am lately.
THIS WEEK
There is nothing special going on here at TMD. I’m just in a bit of a funk. That said, I am plodding forward, and progress is being made — just slower than I’d like it to happen.
INITIAL LIMA M4A1 (‘MICHAEL’) CONVERSION PRE-SALE
I spent the week making the production blanks for the re-mastered version of this kit. This went slower than usual, manly due to the weather. The shop A/C cannot keep up and I cannot work in 95+ F’, so… Still, the molds will be ready Monday and I will start shipping the pre-sale kits Monday afternoon. Unless this heat lets up, these will ship out slowly (1-2 kits/day), but they will ship!
ON THE BENCH
I am still looking at Trumpeter’s new FLAK 88 Famo. Not a horrible kit, but not the way we interpreted the available pictures. I am thinking about making a detail set to cover the alternate possibilities and missing items.
I am also struggling with the M-18 driver’s compartment. I know a lot of you out there want this, but it is fighting me.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
I have no known customer service issues at this time.
MY WORLD
I’m good — I guess. Just repeating stupid mistakes. This seems to be a pattern with me and I can’t seem to break it. I guess I’m just disappointed in myself, but it’s nothing life threatening and I’m not depressed. Like I said, just tired of myself.
MY BUILD BLOG
I’m tired of this, too. I cannot bring myself to build the Dragon kit, but I will make masters for it — for those who don’t mind these kits. As for me: I am still in the desert war, still Jonesing to build something. I just can’t decide what. Most likely, I’ll start on this same Sherm,an, just using Asuka/TMD parts.

If your tired of your self make a change. I keep a stock of old airfix kits under the bench. When I’m tired or lacklust in German with myself or what l’m doing l stop clear the bench and build an airfix kit till l find my.self agian.
