Friends,
I’ve had a tough week. BB and I are fine, but it was tough for some of our close friends, and their troubles bled over into my world a bit. Still, I managed to make progress here. Keep reading and I’ll tell you about it.
NEW PRODUCTS
I will be releasing Karl’s correction for the GECKO Ram kits as soon as the weather will allow. This will fix the dimension/shape issues with the final drive armor (FDA) as well as reposition the electrical box on the side of the hull. We are having an unusually cold winter in Florida this year, and the heaters cannot keep up in the shop. I can’t pour the new molds unless I can keep the shop over 50’F, so…
ON THE BENCH
I have made a decision on what I plan to do with the T6 conversion. I’ve started the demo build and, as soon as I can pour new molds, I’ll get the conversion re-released. Fingers crossed this will happen next week.
I have also decided that I am going to focus on the North African/Mediterranean front this year. I’m on a kick in this theater right now, and, as it is my favorite theater of WW II, I am going to let myself dwell there as long as I want. So, look for anything and everything related to the NA/MTO.
This is still going to mean early war British Shermans, and my first build blog post will go up sometime this weekend.
OPEN ORDERS
I have 2 open orders. Both need new molds. As soon as the weather permits, I’ll get them shipped.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
I have a few customer service issues I am working. One is old and I need to get on it. I just didn’t have time this week. If you’re still waiting on me, trust me, I know who you are and I am on it.
UP-COMING CAMPAIGN(s)
I will be posting a JOE’S CORNER to explain my plans for 2024 tomorrow, Sunday, Feb 4, 2024. Watch for it.
THAT IS ALL
OK, that is all I have for now. Until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
Joe, out
Great to hear you’re back to building! (Maybe it’ll rekindle the passion for the hobby.) Look forward to seeing your work!
