2020.6.5 UPDATE: COUNTERATTACK!!!

So, there we were…

We were all re-loaded, fueled and well rested, we were just waiting for the word to move out again.  That’s when it happened.  COUNTERATTACK!  Hordes of Russian Ivans came boiling over the hill to our direct front.  It was a human wave — with massed armor and artillery support!

MY WEEK IN REVIEW

This was a heck of a week for me.  I handled more orders this week than I usually get in an entire month, and I shipped them all!  I also received two dealer orders.  I got the smaller one out, and managed to cast the larger one.  I just didn’t have time to get it packaged, or it would have shipped, too.  We got a new, 8-week old puppy, and while she is sweet and a lot of fun, she has turned the shop rats into wild-eyed mad-men.  Needless to say, sleep has been a scarce commodity around here for BB and I this week.  My parents and younger brother came by to visit; I had to run to town — twice; and I have a maintenance appointment for the truck later today.  All of this takes time out of my day.  But, somehow, through all of this, I have managed to complete almost two dozen new masters.

OUTSTANDING ORDERS

As I write this, there are no outstanding orders in the shop.

NEW RELEASES

I had intended to release half of the 24+ new items I have ready this week but, as I just explained, there simply was no time.  I will not apologize for this, but I will always ship paid orders before I do anything to chase new orders.  That means the new stuff will have to keep another week.  I hope you’ll understand.

ON THE BENCH

I am starting to get to the larger parts of the armored cars now.  I am working on the seats, canvas shield for the engine screen, and other items like this.  As I have been saying: I will not let go of this subject this time — not until I run the thing to ground.  I want TMD to be the be-all, end-all for German armored car details.

KARL VAN SWEDEN

I have not spoken to Karl this week, so I don’t know how he is doing.  I’ll check on him while I am driving to town in a few hours.

THE SHOP

The shop is still in good shape.

THE OFFICE

The office was left to fend for itself this week.  I’ll figure out what to do with it next week.

THAT IS ALL

OK, that’s all I have for now.  So, until next time, please stay safe and take care of your loved ones.  If you can, try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
