Happy 250th to all my fellow countrymen!
I am still here; still battling the same issues that have plagued me from the start and still trying to find a way to get moving forward again. Here’s wht you need to know — for now:
THE CURRENT PROBLEM:
GoDaddy is having internal issues with their servers, and it is causing some problems with ALL their shopping carts. They didn’t tell me what happened, but I suspect they either got hacked, or they updated something without sufficient de-bugging. Either way, some guys are finding they cannot add things to their cart, or they cannot check out. If that happens, PLEASE, JUST EMAIL ME YOUR REQUEST! I’ll send a manual invoice.
A POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
I spoke to GoDaddy and I can use shopify on my GoDaddy page. It will require some work, but — IF I GO THIS WAY — it may FINALLY fix my issues with my on line store. If not, at least my store will look like Sprue Brothers, Andy’s and Squadron. If I do this, I will have to wait until I can scrape together the cash to pay a third party to make the changes as I am not a programmer. I’ll keep you posted.
IN THE MEAN TIME:
IF the system will allow multiple categories per listing, I plan to change the categories on my current web store. I will just list specific vehicles (ex: Tiger I, Matilda, M4, M4A1, M4A2, etc) and then place my items under these headings. If it works, I’ll bang this out next week. If nothing else, this should make it easier to find what you are looking for on my store. Again, I’ll keep you posted.
