Friends,
I am well aware that I have been rudderless (directionless) the last few years. Hurricane Michael, then COVID both messed me up more than I realized, and now, the market seems to be undergoing some sort of shift. So, yes, I have lost focus, but I have not lost interest. I’ve just been trying to figure out how best to stay relevant through these changes. Today, I had an idea, and I would like feedback — if you don’t mind.
When TMD first started, I intended to make affordable resin products to aid the diorama modeler. Not just building faces, etc., but also the parts necessary to show tank recovery and maintenance in progress. I want to return to this.
But I also want to find another way to help guys show some of the interior work in these new kits coming out. And, in addition to that, give guys an excuse to do some of the super weathering that has become so popular. So I am thinking about developing a line of resin products that will allow you to build a representation of specific, well-known pictures of knocked out tanks.
My question(s) for you guys is this:
1 — Would you have any interest in these sort of product lines (diorama and wrecks)?
and,
2 — How likely do you think you would be to give them a try (please be honest with this one)?
Feel free to answer anonymously, or email/PM direct, if you’d prefer (info@tigermodeldesigns.com).
Thanks and stay safe (more goodies coming soon).
Joe
