Friends,
All plans are perfect — until they meet the enemy. So, until I meet the enemy (which, unfortunately in this case, is me), here is the plan for the first part of 2025:
PRODUCT PLANNING GOALS FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2025
I have started back on the M18 driver’s compartment. The goal is to complete and release it by the end of February. Until that time, I will be making and re-working a lot of smaller items that will go in this kit, but which are also useful in other builds. I will release these as they are completed.
I am continuing to work on my El Alamein M4A1. I have a lot of new and re-mastered items for this project already completed, but I am still struggling to make the LIMA and PSC rear hull plates with the covered pepper pot holes. I can’t manage to get the welds to look the way I want them to look. I hope to have this figured out and all these new and related re-works released by this time next week (Friday, Jan 24).
I am still working on the engineering for the M50 series of Israeli Sherman’s. This will happen this spring.
While I am working on all of these, I have also started to digest the U.S. Half-Tracks. As I look into the subject, I will start making the various smaller items I will need for more comprehensive upgrade and correction sets. I will release these as I complete them.
Finally, with all the Tiger I kits out there, and all the new releases being announced, I am going to consider spending some time on the Tiger I in the 2nd quarter of 2025. I have something for you that will be of a great deal of help to those trying to build specific vehicles. I just need to tie it in to the TMD line and with any plans I devise for future Tiger I products. Stay tuned for this, it will be very useful.
OK, that is everything — for now. I’ll do my best to keep to this, but — if you know me — you know I’d be a fool to promise it.
Joe
VERY happy to see you are working on the M-18 . Be assured as soon as the parts are available, l will definitely be ordering them.
