Happy New Year!
I hope it was a safe and happy holiday season for you and your family. It was here at the TMD ranch. Now, it’s time to get back to work.
I just dropped in to post a quick update. I took the last 2-3 weeks to do some thinking; about myself, the direction of my life and what I would like to do with TMD. I’ve made some decisions. I know I’ve said this many times over the years, and I’ve meant it every time — or so I thought. But the thing that is different this time is I am going to try to wrestle with Joe and no one and nothing else. I want to change the way I’ve been living, and that should — hopefully — mean good things for TMD in the process. And it starts today.
I just pulled down the masters for the M18 driver’s compartment and set them on my master bench. I have the M50 Sherman books and my M2-M3 U.S. Half-Track books on my desk. I also have my El Alamein M4A1 LIMA kit on my build bench. I plan to work the M18 and M4A1 masters while I study the Dragon M2 and M3 kits (I’ll look at the Tamiya and Hobby Boss M3 armored cars while I’m at it) and work out the engineering for the M50 Sherman turrets. These projects will be my focus of the first part of 2025. If I want to move on to something else, I am going to force myself to finish one of these first. The goal is to finally treat this as a real job (it may come as a surprise, but I’ve treated TMD as a hobby for some 20+ years now).
For those who are skeptical, I’m with you. If you start a pool on how long I’m going to last, let me know. I’m good for $20. That said, it’s time to get to work here. So, I’ll be back when I have new products to show you. With some hard work and determination, that should be Friday, Jan 17. Stay tuned!
Until then, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin 🙂 ).

Nope, Joe. I accept your comments as-is because you mean what you say. Do things change? If course. *We* change, as do priorities. Hence, actions change.
“Judge not lest thou art judged” also applies to self-judgment. Do what you are moved to do. Anybody that doesn’t like that, well, the door in is also the door out.
Thank, brother. And I understand about self-judgment, but most of us miss that Jesus ended that teaching by telling us to deal with ourselves first, so that — WHEN WE JUDGE — we judge RIGHTLY! I’m just trying to make sure I get myself straight first, so I can see clearer. That’s all 🙂
