Friends,
I have had four good weeks in a row now. I can’t believe how well things are going. I am actually starting to get nervous. This is when my world usually goes sideways. Still, I am not going to waste this. I have started a slow build-up for what I hope will be a decent summer push at the front.
THIS WEEK
I shipped all but 4 orders. Those 4 are poured, and I might — stress MIGHT — get them shipped today. But, if I don’t, they will go Monday. I also poured 5 new molds, got caught up on the M18 driver’s compartment and initial M4A1 ‘Michael’ conversion and even cleaned up a bit in the shop. All-in-all, a good week’s work.
ON THE BENCH
I have the M18 Driver’s compartment books and master on my bench, as well as several smaller detail items I plan to release along the way.
I also have the M4A1 LIMA Initial Production (a.k.a. ‘Michael’) Conversion out. I’ll be posting a question on our Facebook page about this soon. I could use some idea as to how much demand there might be for this conversion before I decide whether or not to start on updating and re-releasing it.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
I finally have these entirely handled (I think???).
MY WORLD
My breathing has actually started to get better. I have a 3-day trip coming up soon. I am going to tape 4-5 episodes for an international web show. It has a decent audience base, so this isn’t a ‘nothing’ deal — not to me anyway. I am still making slow but steady progress on my build blog (no, I have not given up on it). I might even going to get some new masters out of this. I just don’t want to post anything until I have everything ready to announce (see my comment above about Monty’s playbook).
THAT IS ALL
OK, that is all I have for now. Until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
Joe, out
