Greetings from the Rear Echelon;
The troops on the front lines have been placed under an operational security lock-down prior to the start of our coming campaign. Meanwhile, here in the rear, we have some unclassified operational intelligence we can share with you. So, come on and hit the READ MORE button to get your briefing.
OPEN ORDERS
First, as of the time I write this, I have one — 1 — open order, and I held this order back to give me time to replace molds so we can keep up the quality of our castings. Once again, I’m not sure whether this is good news or bad, but I’ll take it to mean that I did my job again this week. It also means that this is a good time to order as your order will be first on the list to be filled and shipped come Monday morning.
CUSTOMER CARE ISSUES
As far as I know, I have one customer care issue, and I hope to handle this one soon. I’m just waiting for the customer to reply to my last email.
PLANNING FOR OUR SPRING OFFENSIVE
Our plans to subdue the enemy on the M5/M5A1/M8 front are finished and the troops have been well supplied. When they get the word to start their attack, they should be good to go for at least a month. All we’re waiting on now is the order to execute.
The thing that is holding p the execution order is the need for the ‘head shed’ (leaders) to go to a funeral tomorrow (Saturday). We also have a visit from the political types (BB’s and my parents are visiting today). We have four family birthdays this month, and we are all going to dinner together to celebrate them. Consequently, all this last minute meddling by our uberlords has delayed the launch of our campaign. Hopefully, the word will finally come sometime next week.
NEW PRODUCTS
I actually managed to make headway on the master front. Admittedly, everything I did was aimed at preparing for the coming campaign against the enemy’s M5/M5A1/M8 front. Watch for some more teaser pictures sometime Sunday. However, these pictures will depend on how well the next 48 hours go for us.
KARL VAN SWEDEN
I spoke to Karl this week. He was doing well and was in good spirits. After sharing our plans for the coming campaign against the enemy’s M5/M5A1/M8 front, Karl got excited. This has long been one of his focal points. What’s more, he got the new Tamiya M3 Stuart kit I sent him last week and that just got him going all the more. It is looking as though Karl might very well start working on the next phase of our campaign. With luck, by the time I lead the defeat of the enemy’s M5/M5A1/M8 sector, Karl will have our follow-on forces ready to defeat the M3/M3A1 sector. If we can succeed in this plan, we will have completely subdued the enemy’s Stuart front.
THE SHOP
The shop is in good shape, but it needs to be cleaned up a bit. Unfortunately, that might have to be pushed off until next week, as we may not have time to straighten up before the politicos show for our dinner.
THE OFFICE
The office also needs a field day (cleaning up). Here again, this will depend on how the rest of the day goes.
THAT IS ALL
Well, that’s all I have for you this week. Hopefully you will be as satisfied with my continued progress. I know I am. So, until next time, please stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
