This was pretty much a lost week, and for a very unexpected reason. And — this time — I don’t know how much of what happened I should share with you.
NOW HEAR THIS!
THIS WEEK’S BIG NEWS
Sunday night, I had a friend of mine contact me and ask me to do something I used to do quite often, but had given up because it can harm my business. I am torn as to whether or not I should mention it because it could make many of you more than a little angry with me. I do not need or want that. I just want to stay the happy, go-lucky neighborhood resin slinger in your mind. I do not want you to think of me in any way but as a modeler. So I do not know what to do other than to tell you that I got sucked into something that occupied the majority of the time I should have spent on the master bench this past week.
ON THE BENCH
As I just said, I did not have a good week on my bench. I had a lot of free time to work, but I spent it on something else. Luckily, however, I still have time to catch up, and I am going to get to work doing exactly that. Plus, it looks like Dave Hobbs actually had a good week on his bench, so that should help make up for my lack of discipline.
THE WEB STORE
This is another area that suffered because of my distraction. I apologize, I’ll try to whip my sorry butt into shape and get back to what i should be doing.
TMD BLOG PAGE
I have my first ‘Joe’s Corner’ post forming in my head. I’ll get that up this weekend. I will not post that on FB, so you might want to subscribe to follow this blog (just saying).
Cliff suggested I solve my problem in this area by posting the names on the returned orders and asking if anyone can help me reach these guys. I hope I do not get anyone upset over this, but I think I am going to do this later tonight. I want these things to find their way to their proper homes.
This is bothering me. I now have 8 returned orders. I have no idea what is going on, or how to find your email addresses. All I can do is keep asking you to contact me if you are missing an order.
MY PERSONAL WORLD
OK, the thing that distracted me this week is not a bad thing. In fact, I loved it. I miss it, even. But I need to remember why I walked away from it and use that to make sure I do not allow this distraction to harm my operation of TMD. So, please, don’t worry: everything is more than good. I had fun this week. I just didn’t do my job, that’s all. 🙂
THAT IS ALL
Well, that’s all I have for now. So, until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
