3.13.2026 UPDATE: MIA or AWOL (maybe POW?) YOU Decide

Friends,

It has been so long since my last update, some of you may have started to think I was KIA.  But, no, I’m still here.

Look, I’m not going to lie: BB (my wife) and I have had a tough time the last two years.  We are OK, but it seems like we can’t go more than six weeks without some major disruption in our lives.  That said, I am starting to realize it isn’t just us.  It seems most everyone I know — including quite a few of you out there — are experiencing what seems like an unusual amount of… shall we say, ‘headwinds’ in our lives?  I’m just going to hop you will have some sort of personal experience that helps you understand what I’m feeling here.

That said, I have missed TMD and modeling.  I keep trying — hard — to get back to the master bench, but it has been all I can do just to fill my orders as I fight all the fires I just mentioned.  I have things on the bench.  The M18 and, now, M36 driver’s compartments are in progress (as well as a re-work of the M10/Achilles compartment).  I also have the M1/M1A1 Ward La France wreckers and am working with a mate in New Zealand to show these nice new kits from Thunder Models some love.  Finally, I have plans for the Tiger I family.  I just have to find a little space to breath.

Until I can do this, please know that I am still here.  I am still very interested in modeling and in TMD.  I’m just older and slower and — for some reason — in more demand away from my company than ever before.  I just hope and pray you will not give up on me.  Keep placing your orders where I can already help you and hang tight while I do my best to start the flow of new resin goodies for you.  God willing, it won’t take much longer.

Until then, thank you and stay safe,

Joe

  1. AWOL? Nah. Not your choice.
POW? That’s between you and Herself.
MIA? If you are, to whom am I speaking?

And y’know, you’re not MIA. If you’re still moving product, you’re in action. Okay, new stuff? That’s a self imposed objective. Get at it when it’s not a strain to. How many good companies have killed themselves by pushing too hard too soon.
