NEW RELEASE
First, I have released some new and re-mastered Sherman items. You can find the list here.
Now, some of you might not be all that excited about Sherman stuff, especially the early war Shermans — but I am. All of the items I just released are related to and being used in my current build (Yes! I am still doggedly trying to build that British El Alamein Sherman I started last year. I’ll post an update on that build blog next week). And all of them are either new or significantly up-dated, to include new or improved details and/or additional parts.
God willing, I will have more new and re-mastered items for you next week. They will still be related to my current build, but some of them will have broader applications. Be sure to check back next week.
CHANGES TO THE STORE AND PRODUCT LINE
The latest releases also start my campaign for 2025. I am going to do my best to update the current product line while — at the same time — filling in as many of the holes as I can. I will focus mostly on U.S. WW II, but I will also be returning to German WW II subject material at some point (it’s been a long time since I visited this area, and it is high time I return).
As I add to and update the existing line, I am going to do my best to update the web store, as well. This will include new and better pictures (I am still a poor photographer, but I’ve been working on it). I will also standardize my listing format, to include suggestions for additional TMD products that may work with whatever item(s) you are buying.
A NEW JOE’s CORNER
As you may or may not be aware, I have a love-hate relationship with 3D products. Well, I have finally resolved that internal dilemma. If you are interested, watch the blog page for a new JOE’s Corner post. I’ll explain my thinking and how I intend to deal with my dilemma there.
MY WORLD
The shop is in good shape. I have a few orders that got slowed down by the need to get the new releases out, but they will ship Monday.
BB and the shop rats are doing great.
Finally, I am well and starting to work on my diet and getting back in shape. So far, it is slow-going, but I’m still plugging away after 6 weeks — and it is finally starting to show. Mostly in my breathing, but — to me — that is a big deal.
