Friends,
Things might be turning a corner. I had a good week and, though I am still behind in shipping orders, I think I can see a break in the weather. Hit the ‘READ MORE’ button ans I’ll share the details with you.
THE WEEK IN REVIEW
I spent this week struggling to keep up with orders. The sale has been very successful so far. I do have a number of orders still waiting to be shipped, and several of them are rather large (thank you, Lord), and I have to replace a mold for the oldest order, but I have things down to a manageable number. If I keep my head down and just push hard, I hope to have all but one order shipped by this time next week.
THE SALE ENDS SUNDAY
If you haven’t taken advantage of the sale, there is still time. It ends Sunday, so don’t wait too long.
CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
I have one customer service issue that needs to be resolved and I am working on getting it handled by Monday. So, if you have a TMD problem that is not related to some Sherman suspension arms, please contact me and let me know as you have fallen off scope.
NEW RELEASES
I don’t have anything new this week, and I probably won’t have anything new for another couple weeks, but there might actually be some hope for new goodies on the horizon.
ON THE BENCH
I cleared my bench. There are no new masters in the works at this time. HOWEVER, once the sale orders have been shipped, I think I figured out hoe to schedule my week so that I can spend 4-6 hours/week on the bench. If I can make this happen, I’ll focus on small, useful details — things I can finish relatively quickly and which will be fairly easy on the wallet. Once I get that working, we’ll think about that M-18 Driver’s Compartment again.
ON KARL’S BENCH
I will not go into the personals here, but I am announcing that Karl has retired from making patterns. He is going to go back to learning how to be just a regular modeler again. I owe a great deal of TMD’s success to his faithful support and loyal friendship, as well as his marvelous talent. His contributions will be missed, but I am very happy to know he will still be with us. Our community has lost enough friends lately. I am greedy. I want to hold on to my ‘big brother,’ Karl, for as long as I can.
THE SHOP
The shop is starting to show signs of being deep into a sale. I’ll have to clean up after the sale ends.
THE OFFICE
The office is showing the effects of my new venture. I’ll have to get things cleaned up here soon as well.
ME AND MY WORLD
BB and I are well. No health or family concerns, just personal decisions being made. If you count yourself friend and are interested in more details, you can find the old JOE’s CORNER posts explaining what I am doing. Otherwise, nothing much has been happening here.
THAT IS ALL
That said, this is all I have for everyone this week. Until next time, you stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
