Greetings from the Rear Echelon;
We have news from the front. The enemy sneak attack has been repulsed and the front line has been reformed. Now we start planning for our counter-attack! Hit the ‘read more’ button and we’ll brief you on the details.
OPEN ORDERS
First, as of the time I write this, I have no — 0 — open orders. I’m not sure if this is good news in light of the last two weeks, or a bad omen for the next two weeks. All I know is I did my job this week, and I stand ready to keep doing it next week. So, if you’ve been thinking about placing an order, this is a good time to do it as you will be first up come Monday morning.
CUSTOMER CARE ISSUES
As far as I know, I have resolved all outstanding customer care issues. If you still need something, you have probably gotten lost in the confusion of the enemy attack. Please send up an SOS by emailing me and reminding me about your issue — so we can send out a rescue party to try and get you back behind friendly lines.
PLANNING FOR OUR SPRING OFFENSIVE
We finally managed to stop the enemy sneak attack. We even managed to re-form a strong defensive line. Now, we are planning for a spring offensive. This offensive will not be one of our typical ‘blitz’ attacks where we gobble up easy gains, then sit back and wait for the next opportunity to repeat our easy victories. No, this time, we are preparing for a long, strong attack of attrition. I guess this means we are planning a campaign more than an attack. Never the less, the rear echelon types are gathering the beans, bullets and band aids out troops will need in the coming months. Once they can get everything moved up to the front lines, we will turn our gallant soldiers lose to beat down the enemy and, this time, we plan to stay on the offense until we totally subdue the enemy on the M5/M5A1/M8 front!
NEW PRODUCTS
I actually managed to make headway on the master front. Admittedly, everything I did was aimed at preparing for the coming campaign against the enemy’s M5/M5A1/M8 front. Watch for some teaser pictures here and on FB later today.
KARL VAN SWEDEN
I spoke to Karl this week. He was doing well and was in good spirits. After sharing our plans for the coming campaign against the enemy’s M5/M5A1/M8 front, Karl got excited. This has long been one of his focal points. So, with a little luck, we will have a strong ally joining us in our next campaign.
THE SHOP
The shop also saw some improvements. I managed to get quite a few new mold boxes made up for the new molds that — until now — haven’t had a ‘home’ on the mold shelves. I also finished cleaning up the last of the clutter in the front of the shop. Now, I just have to clear the mess on the sorting benches and the shop will be completely ready for anything.
THE OFFICE
The office saw some decent gains this week. I not only managed to keep it cleaned up, but I made progress on the web store. All products now have their product numbers in the listing. This will make it easier to find things when you already know the product number. I also created a few header pages. You will find them at the top right section of the home page. I am still working on these new pages, but I pretty much finished the ABOUT page. I even posted a BLOG page that will link you to the TMD Blog site. You’ll find all the regular information about the company, our policies, ordering, shipping, etc. I am still working to find an easy way to get the instruction sheets posted. Once I finish with that, the structure of the web store should be finished. All I will have to do then is tweak every product listing page, which will include new pictures.
THAT IS ALL
Well, that’s all I have for you this week. Hopefully you will be as satisfied with my progress this week as I am. So, until next time, please stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
Joe
