POST SALE UPDATE

Folks,

The weekend sale was much better than I had expected it to be. In fact, it went so well that I’m going to need a bit more time than I had anticipated to get all these orders shipped. Now, please don’t think I’m complaining: I’m not. In fact, I am very grateful. I just want to make sure you all know that things will be a little slow the next week or so, and why.

My plan is to finish a dealer order I had outstanding from last week today, Monday. then, tomorrow, Tuesday, I’ll start shipping the sale orders — smallest/easiest orders first. Then I’ll work my way through the orders from the smaller to the larger orders. Yes, I know, I am not shipping by first in, first out, but there’s a reason for that. First, I need to feel like I am doing something. If I ship orders in the order they were placed, I could work for a couple days and see very little headway. That discourages me, and I don’t need that right now (sorry). Second, there are only a handful of very large orders and — to be honest — I know most of you who placed them. I know you don’t mind a little wait. So, yes, I am going to impose on you guys for the sake of those who placed smaller orders so that I can keep a positive attitude. So, in the end, blame any and all delays on my selfishness.

OK, that’s it: that’s the plain, honest truth of what will be happening with the sale orders for the next 5-7 business days. Feel free to slap my wrists if you feel I deserve it, because I probably do. But I needed to let everyone know things will be slow and I’ve never lied to you, so I felt I should explain why. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Please, stay safe. And, thanks again. I really do appreciate your business. You folks are one of the few bright spots left to me in this material world: you, BB and the shop rats. I am very grateful for all of you. Serving you by providing for your modeling needs helps me make it through the day. šŸ™‚
