2020.10.30 UPDATE: Time to Ruck-Up

Folks,

I’m still in the same bad mood I’ve been in for the past few weeks, but elite troops are not made to sit around for very long. So, for better or worse, I am feeling a reluctant compulsion to ruck-up and get back to work.

OUTSTANDING ORDERS

I have two open orders. They both came in over the last two days. I didn’t fill them because I have been out of town with a side project I do from time to time. Looking at them, I have every expectation of being able to fill and ship them Monday.

THE NEW WEB STORE

As I said in a Facebook update, Dave Hobbs came down this week. We took a long, hard look at the U.S. product line and decided on how to re-name some of these items so they will be easier to find in your searches. We also identified a list of items that could use re-working. The goal here is to bring them up to more current TMD standards. I’ll be starting work on these changes this coming week.

NEW RELEASES

I have nothing new to announce, but I should have new items shortly.

ON MY BENCH

As I’ve been saying, the German armored cars and the M10?Achilles are still on my master bench. I think I will try to get back into a mood that will at least allow me to start working on smaller detail items that will eventually go to the larger product sets I have planned for these vehicles.

KARL VAN SWEDEN

I apologize for not doing so, but I did not bother to call Karl this week. Consequently, I have no idea what he is doing right now. The last I heard, he was fiddling around with M113 and Sheridan masters — but that may have changed. I’ll try to have more information for you next week.

THE SHOP

I left the shop in a slight disarray this week, but I should have it back in shape by Monday afternoon. So, the shop is good.

THE OFFICE

The office is in good shape. Except for the continued work on the web store, there’s little to worry about on this front.

THAT IS ALL

Well, this is about all I have. I’m up and moving again, but still feeling a little stiff and sore. I expect it may take a week or two before I feel more myself, but I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other until I get there. Until then, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
