I had another decent week, but my attitude hasn’t changed. I managed to keep trudging on, I’m just not sure where I am going. Anyway, come on, I’ll try to explain it a bit more.
THE NEW WEB STORE
This is an area where I can see a real, tangible benefit to putting in more time and energy, so I will try to get back to it next week. I need to start going through and updating every single listing. In some cases, this will mean updating the product(s) as well. Naturally, this is not going to happen over night, but I will get started on it.
OUTSTANDING ORDERS/CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES
As far as I know, I have handled all customer service issues that came up this week. If you have been missed, please contact me so I can fix it. The contact button on this site works great (finally), so you can easily reach me now.
I do not anticipate anything new coming off our benches for a while, and that’s all I intend to say here, in the update.
ON MY BENCH
I have the M10 and German armored cars on my bench, but I have absolutely zero desire to touch any of it. So, until my mood/attitude improve, don’t look for or expect much from me on this front.
KARL VAN SWEDEN
I spoke to Karl yesterday. Generally, he is doing well, but, emotionally, he is pretty much in the same place as I am — and for generally the same reason. Don’t look for much from him for a while, either.
The shop is in good shape, and I hope to make it even better. This is another area where I can see a return for the effort, so I am going to start working to put the shop in perfect, inspection-ready condition (which it has never, ever been).
The office is also in good shape. Again, this is an area where I can convince myself it is worth my time and effort to organize things that have been put off for a long time, so I’ll be working on this, as well.
THAT IS ALL
I think I’ll write a JOE’S CORNER post today. I feel I owe some explanation for my mood — at least to those of you who have followed me for any length of time, anyway. If you have subscribed to our blog page, you’ll receive a notice when I post the JOE’s CORNER. Otherwise, you will have to check in on the blog page to find out what I decide. OK, that’s all I have for now. So, until next time, please, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).
