2020.9.4 UPDATE: FINALLY! A Good Week!

Friends,

It’s been a while. Some times, it seems like it’s been an eternity. But I am happy to report that TMD and I both had a good week! Come on, I’ll fill you in on the details.

THE WEB STORE

The current web store continues to have some problems. Some of you are managing to place your orders, others keep running into code errors. As best I can tell, it all depends on your browser and security settings. But this much is for sure:

THE SITE IS SAFE AND SECURE! It may be glitchy, but you can trust it.

However, if you cannot place your order, please email it to me. The email address is info@tigermodeldesigns.com. I’ll handle the order manually.

A NEW WEB STORE IS COMING

I have started work on the new web store. This one is a ‘box site,’ so it will look and function a lot more like something you are used to using. If all goes well, it should go live sometime before Oct 1.

OUTSTANDING ORDERS

Several of you went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me recover the expenses I’ve had to cover the last few weeks. Two of you covered almost a third of those expenses by yourselves! Believe me, I love you guys, and I appreciate every single order. Thank you! I do not deserve such loyalty from any of you, but I am extremely grateful.

That said, I did my part. The last outstanding order shipped this morning (although, someone snuck in a new order while I was writing this — thank you 😉 ).

ON THE BENCH

I’ve got nothing going on right now except the M10 instructions. I really need to get them posted.

KARL

I haven’t spoke to Karl this week, so I have no idea what he’s up to today. Last I heard, he was banging away on the M113 and some other Cold War era goodies.

THE OFFICE

No changes here.

THAT IS ALL

OK< that’s all I have for now. Until next time, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).

  1. Hey Joe, I had the most unsafe modeling week ever, that involved a 911 call and ambulance drive and hospital visit. Watch out for sharp 1 inch stab wounds with an Xacto blade! Karl has been working like crazy on some wheels for the Sheridan, I saw pics the other day. Also, how can I find instructions for the M10? If you are up to it, can you scan what Karl sent and I can make heads and tails out of it? Thanks, brother!
