An Unfortunate Policy Change

IMPORTANT POLICY CHANGE

WHAT IS HAPPENING

I have always tried to keep your shipping costs to an absolute minimum.  This is not easy.  Shipping prices keep going up, and that makes it harder and harder for me to keep your costs down.  But there are other factors besides the cost of shipping.

I have always given free replacements for orders that got ‘lost’ in the mail.  There has never been any need to go to PayPal, all you had to do was tell me your order was lost and I replaced it.  Well, I cannot do this anymore.

I do not know what has happened, but I have to assume that the customs departments and postal systems of all the countries outside of the United States have become incompetent, because I am getting a lot of ‘lost order’ notices from people outside of the U.S..  (I am blaming customs and the postal system because I do not want to believe the other option).

Well, I cannot afford to keep replacing lost orders — not at the rate that it is now happening.  I hate it, I really do.  I have always tried to provide the best quality and customer service possible, and I was proud to say that ‘No one ever looses their money with TMD!’  So, this hurts me a great deal, but I have to make a change in my policies.

THE CHANGE IN POLICY

If you live outside of the United States, this will affect you.

From now on, I am no longer going to replace ‘lost’ orders. Furthermore, I am going to use the PayPal system to ship overseas orders.

This will keep your PayPal protections in place, but it will also provide me with a little protection, as well.

MY APOLOGIES

Once again, I am sorry about this change.  I have held back from making it for quite a while, but I can no longer afford to keep replacing ‘lost’ orders.  I can only hope and pray you will understand.

Joe
