It’s been one of those weeks where you are moving forward, but your position on the map doesn’t appear to change. Still, I count this a good week. Come on and I’ll fill you in on the details.
As I write this, I have no outstanding orders left to ship. You guys have been ordering (thank you for that), but I was able to keep up this week. However, I don’t have anything for next week, so that means you slackers are falling down on the job. Start ordering again. I see some room on your stash shelf. Fill it with TMD stuff 😉
ON THE BENCH
I have finally started working on new masters. However, I did something new this week. I took time to actually read my references, study the available kits, then plan out what I want to make and how I’d like to make it. In the past, I have always just rushed in and started cutting plastic. Not this time. This time, I have a serious plan laid out and, if I stick to it, I think a lot of you guys who like the German Armored Cars, Half-Tracks, Open-Top SPGs and early war tanks are going to be very, very happy, really, really soon.
KARL VAN SWEDEN
I spoke with Karl early this week. He is still battling with life’s little distractions, but there is a small hatch composite upper hull, an update for the AFV Club M 113 ACAV kit and the driver’s compartment for the M10 sitting on his bench. He also has a few smaller items for the MiniArt M3 Lee/Grant series ready to go. So, with a bit of luck, the next few weeks might be see the first new stuff to come out off Karl’s bench in some time, as well.
Things in the shop are continuing to improve. I have all the bench tops cleaned up, and now I am sorting through old drawers and putting things where they will hopefully stay for the rest of the time I have TMD. Don’t get me wrong: there is still a long way to go before the shop is 100% finished, but at least I am finally to a point where every day sees a bit more progress on this front.
Here, too, I am making headway, even if it doesn’t all show on your end. You might have noticed that I am working on the Home Page of the Web Store. At least you can find my contact information and some answers to your most common questions now. I have also started to plan the re-work of the entire product line. So, you see, I made progress this week, it’s just that this does not show on your end, is all.
THAT IS ALL
OK, that’s all I have for now. So, until next time, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).

It’s the people who produce Things that understand how important that unseen prep really is. Good fer yew!
The voice of one who knows the truth of what he says. Thank you, thank you very much. It’s good to know someone understands 🙂
