2020.2.7 UPDATE: Another Good Week

Folks,

I had another good week.  I got a lot done, and even checked off the last box on my modeling bucket list.  Come on and I’ll give you the details.

MY BUCKET LIST

Since I started TMD, I have managed to do everything and meet everyone I wanted to — save one.  This past Wednesday, I checked off that last box when I finally got to meet Hillary Doyle.  I spent some time at Ft. Benning Wednesday, took a bunch of pictures to help with some things I am working on and got to meet the other half of ‘Panzer Tracts.’  Now I can say I’ve completed my modeling bucket list, and it feels good.

OUTSTANDING ORDERS

As I write this post, there are no open orders in the shop (at least, as far as I am aware of, anyway).  I’ve been taking orders, so that isn’t the problem.  I’ve just been able to keep up with them as they come in — for a change.  Another great feeling.

ON THE BENCH

I have a lot of stuff on my bench — too much, in fact.  I spent some time this week trying to figure out what I was thinking and doing; getting stuff organized so I can actually finish something; and planning the best way to get things moving again.  I have been reading to get my head wrapped around the details of some things I have started to work on, and I went to Ft. Benning to get pictures and some help with this.  Starting this weekend, I hope to finally start moving forward again.

KARL VAN SWEDEN

I spoke to Karl last week.  He has several masters close to being complete, but I am not pushing him.  When he finishes them, he finishes them.  I’ll tell you about them when that happens.

THE SHOP

I did not get to do much about cleaning and organizing the shop this week, but I hope to get back to that chore next week.

THE OFFICE

Here again, I didn’t do much on the office/administration side of things this week, and I do not anticipate getting to any of this much before March.

THAT IS ALL

OK, that’s all the news that is news.  Until next week, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).

Joe
