ABOUT THOSE SALE ORDERS…
I’m afraid I’ll be a wee bit slower in shipping them out than I had anticipated. This happened to BB and I on the way to dinner tonight. The white Tacoma was us. We just bought it a few months ago, too. A young lady tried to beat us and turned left in front of us when we were already entering the intersection. I had no way to avoid it. The best I could do was change the angle of impact so we did not hit the KIA head-on.
BB and I went to the ER. We are both fine, but we are going to be very sore for the next few days. I apologize to those affected, but this will slow me down a bit.
It’s a good thing that “close” never counts. Glad you two made it.
True, ‘close’ only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades and thermonuclear warfare LOL

Well, that freakin’ sucks Joe! I’m happy to hear that you and BB are okay. Nothing quite like idiots to make one’s day bad. Vehicles repair a lot quicker than bodies so be wise and let your bodies heal properly. No one likes dealing with this kind of thing but, speaking from experience, get a lawyer and let THEM deal with the unfortunate bits.

Thanks. Yeah, this sucks, but we’re not hurting as badly as we expected we would this morning. As for the lawyer: I used to be an insurance adjuster in this Sate. I know the game well enough that — unless the insurance company gets really stupid — I will not need a lawyer to take care of us. I am thankful for my background. With the hurricane repairs, and now this, my time as an adjuster has saved a LOT of my friends, family and I a LOT of money the last 18 months 🙂
Glad you and BB are doing OK, Joe. Sorry for all involved. No rush on the order here; as usual everything is for the long term, even though that is rapidly getting shorter ;>) ha!
