2019.6.21 UPDATE: SS-DD

Hi Folks,

OK, if you do not know what ‘SS-DD’ stands for, I’m not going to tell you (ask a vet).  However, if you do know what it means, well, then you have an idea of how this week has gone for me.  So, for those who don’t know, come on and I’ll give you some hints.

OUTSTANDING ORDERS

As I write this update, I have 2 open orders in house.  If all goes well, they will ship out Saturday.  If not, definitely on Monday.  Otherwise, the order board is clear so, if you need anything, this is a good time to place your order.

ON THE BENCH

I have not made a great deal of progress on this front, but I can tell you that Karl had a good week.  If things keep going the way they appear to be going, Karl might even be returning to making masters on a regular basis again.  As for me, I have piles of Panther kits and the M10/Achilles on my master bench.

THE WEB STORE

I have little to report here, either.  Thanks to the feed-back some of you gave me last week, I now understand what — exactly — I need to do and how I am going to do it.  Now, I have to force myself to make time to do the work.

THE SHOP

I didn’t get a lot done here this week.  The shop still needs to be cleaned up.  It is a mess.  End of story.

STASH CLEARING

My Face Book listing did not go very well, so I am going to just bite the bullet and start posting everything on EBay.  I have 52 kits scheduled to go live between 1800-1830 tonight.  Once they are live, I’ll post a link to my EBay sales.  I plan to add 25+ new items every day until I get everything listed, then I am going to keep re-listing until they all sell.  This will include my reference books.  I am going to go back to focusing only on 1/35 armor.

MY PERSONAL WORLD

The house repairs are languishing, the yard work is starting to pile up and I’m fighting a minor health issue that makes it a bit tough to do more than a few hours of hard work a day.  So, all told, I’m feeling like I’m stuck in a rut, but I’m OK.

THAT IS ALL

OK, hang tight for one more week.  I’ll have goodies next week.  Until then, stay safe and try to build something (preferably something using TMD resin).

Joe
